Deinstallation of 3 Cyber 180-830 Computers in Mallorca
In the time from December 26th till December 31st, John, Alex and Freddy from
Cray-Cyber.org made a trip to Mallorca in order to deinstall three Cyber 830
computers.
These Cybers are a donation from Endesa, Mallorca, Spain and were previously
used for control of Balears electrical power generation and distribution.
On December 27th, deinstallation started with unplugging the machines and
preparing everything for packaging, on December 28th we packed the boxes and
pallets, and that still that evening, the truck which brings the machines and
peripherals to Germany arrived and we loaded all the things.
Unfortunately, the truck was somewhat too small so that a few tape drives and
printers are still left, but they are fetched end January 2007.
